The "new" meshes on this site are alterations to meshes that either come with "The Sims" and its expansion packs, or have been made by others...most of which also originated with the game. Maxis retains copyright to everything that was born of files from "The Sims." Nevertheless, I have made every effort to secure permission to alter and rename the non-Maxis .cmx and .skn files as necessary, and wherever possible, full credit is given to the person and/or site where I obtained the mesh. Be sure to read the README files included with the .zip packages to find out exactly who created what, and how you might be able to obtain even more of their wonderful offerings.

README files also include clear installation instructions for all skins. Please don't write to me asking, "How do I put these things in my game?" READ THE "README" FILES!


I create Skin files for one reason only: because I enjoy it. I give them away because I get a kick out of knowing that other Sim-fans' games will be enriched by my hobby. I do not seek fame, or even recognition. But if you happen to recognize an un-credited mesh on this site that you created, or that you know was created by a mesh-maker who would not want their work altered and offered here, please inform me. I'll either provide the appropriate credits, or remove or replace the mesh, simple as that.
